3. What is a domain pointer? - Top

A domain pointer is an additional top-level domain name that points to your hosting account. This means that, for example, yourdomain.com, yourdomain.net and your-domain.org can all point to the same location as your primary domain or optionally be pointed to different sub-directory to act as a seperate stand-alone websites.

This allows you to point multiple domain names to your primary domain, or host additional domains as seperate unique websites on one USA domains account.
