Answers to the most common questions we receive about setting up sub-domains on your website.

3. Can I get e-mail services with my sub-domain? - Top

No. POP3 accounts, aliases, alias lists, autoresponders, and mailing lists will not work, nor can they even be setup via sub-domains. You can only setup email services for your primary domain name and/or any other top-level domain names you have added to your account as a Domain Pointer.

Trying to send e-mail as if it was from your sub-domain as user@anything.yourdomain.com will result in either a bounced message or no response and non-delivery of your e-mail message.
